A sort of scripting support. Example:
border-size:

"set 100"
"wait 20s"
"transition 50 10s"
"wait 10s"
"transition 10 5s"

The above example would start the border at 100 then after 20 seconds start shrinking the border to 50 blocks over 10 seconds then wait again for 10 seconds and finally transition the border to 10 over 5 seconds
